Yes. There had better be a Series 2, and I hope there's not any sign of "Well, we wrote this stuff for the end of Series 1, we've got no ideas of actually how to resolve things so we'll come up with something kooky!".
I'm hopeful. Firefly ended abruptly in a way that was obvious that they never expected it to be cancelled, and Space: Above and Beyond ended in a way that was obvious that they wanted to wrap up loose ends. It looked like a deliberate cliffhanger to me (tho' a particularly sadistic one!).
I really loved this programme. Usually US sci-fi shows don't really do it for me but I loved the intelligence and the documentary style to it. It had me hooked! I have this horrible feeling that there won't be another series though. People have talked about so many people in the US having downloaded the show that the ratings will be hit and it just seems too dark for US viewers. You also need to have watched it all to follow it properly. Farscape suffered from that in that it just couldn't get new viewers because you'd have no idea what was going on.
It's good and I hope it gets renewed so I have something to watch along with SG-1, but only time will tell as the US haven't aired it all yet. I really thought I would hate it with Starbuck being a girl, so I am glad I was wrong.

Does this mean we can converse again without you being paranoid I'm going to drop a spoiler? :)
