[GPP] Goldblade, London, 17/12/04

Goldblade supported New Model Army on the recent tour. Three pics behind the cut, page link soon when I get around to doing it...

I really like the first one.

Can I ask a favour? Say you were being hired to shoot an all-dayer music event at Brixton Academy, what would you charge for the day and IPR for say your top 30 images?

I need a realistic quote for a project I'm doing for uni...

Also, have you had any experience with pictures appearing in Metal Hammer?

If he was leaning forward and down, wouldn't the lighting be different? Morefrom behind him? Just a guess :)

Would a round £600 be good for 8 hours shooting plus 30 (max)photos? Just trying to get a rough figure...

3 of my Black Mass photos made it into the article on Satanism in this month's Metal Hammer, but without a credit or cash. Honestly I wouldn't have cared about the cash if they'd pimped my URL, but now that can't happen I'm wondering what to do. I'm trying to find a reasonable figure so I can multiply that by 3 and send them an invoice, as thats what other people have suggested. However, they ended up in the mag due to a middle man (the company one of my housemates works with) so I need to pursue that avenue before writing "threatening" legal letters ;)

Thanks a lot for the info and e-mail. I'm going to run it by my housemate (who works for Redemption, who passed on the photos to Metal Hammer) and see what happens that way. They owe me cash anyway, they've used my photos for promotion, albeit credited.

I don't really want to sour the environment at home, but if I don't get a favourable response I'll be following it up.

Salvation/Redemption are the company running Black Mass, the night I took photos of, as well as suppliers of "high quality" goth/horror pr0n ;)

One of those blokes looks exactly like the lead singer from Gorgeous. Wonder if it is.
