Ow!
Last night instead of playing Badminton I spent it in A&E after having an Road Traffic Accident with a skip (whilst on my bicycle). If I get time to write it up in full gory details I will later - but in the meantime all I can say is "I love the NHS - the best legal floaty feeling I've ever had". Plus I have a new hole in my leg.
I'm such a brave soldier.
skinfitz - could do with an instant messenger chat if you get a chance at some point later to help with some bridge building. Details should be on my profile page.
Now to hobble to work.

Get well soon, and all that.

(Particularly with potentially comedic outcomes as is happening in the mental image I have of you ending up in a skip).
Actually if it's any consolation I once ended up on a car roof after a cycling accident.
Glad you are ok! I'll be around later tonight.

If you can prove negligence then you are in with a decent personal injury compensation claim I think.

Sympathy and ouch.
Compensation culture bandwagon, here you come :)
Did they give you a pretty plaster with cartoon characters?

Hurrah for morphine! Hope it mends well & the bikes not mangled beyond repair :)

Piercings are the new cool thing, and its nifty to do it in a new and experimental way. I'll wager all the best gothic kiddies will be cycling into skips next year.
(Hope you are feeling mostly okay now, and nothings too badly mangled.)

... I laugh at your pain.

The only time I ever had accidients on my motorised bicycle, the overwhelming thought as I interacted with the ground was "ARGH!!!! HOW MUCH FIXING WILL THE BIKE NEED!?!?!?!?!"

I'm glad you're ok, but seriously, how could you ride into a skip? What on earth were you concentrating on?
