Sitting at Lancaster station. Interview was ok - not brilliant - but we shall see!

10 MP3 Tracks - from just under 3000.

This is "what's on my laptop" rather than "everything I have".
  1. Lovefool - The Cardigans - Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack

  2. Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Mix) - Rob D - Matrix Soundtrack

  3. Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby - Pure Moods

  4. Impera - Era - Era

  5. Familus Horribilus - Pop Will Eat Itself - RSVP

  6. Lights Go Out - New Model Army - Abandoned Trax

  7. Little Things - Lamb

  8. Halo - Depeche Mode - Violator

  9. Three Thoughts (Devils Sect) - Einstürzende Neubauten - Strategies Against Architecture III (1 of 2)

  10. Itsuka Mata (Until Next Time) - Kodo - Warabe
Lovefool - The Cardigans - Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack
Bought as much as a sampler of guitar rock of the time as any special liking for the film.

Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Mix) - Rob D - Matrix Soundtrack
Definitely the best track on the album.

Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby - Pure Moods
I have a little Deep Forest. Not a espeically preferred genre - but I have a little ambient music like this, and the obligatory Orb.

Impera - Era - Era
An album of a particular time. Memories, and associations with a number of individuals.

Familus Horribilus - Pop Will Eat Itself - RSVP
I prefer the harder, later Poppies stuff to the earlier work. I'm not the worlds biggest fan but if I'm feeling bouncy it's perfect. Reminds me of the time I was ents-ing at university and they played.

Lights Go Out - New Model Army - Abandoned Trax
Ah - NMA. Nice to see something in the list.

Little Things - Lamb
One of the odd Lamb tracks I collected after seeing them "unplugged" supporting Moby. I should have gone to see them the other week.

Halo - Depeche Mode - Violator
I like to leave DM songs to "mature" for a couple of years before I listen to them.

Three Thoughts (Devils Sect) - Einstürzende Neubauten - Strategies Against Architecture III (1 of 2)
Erm, something in german and produced with bits of plastic pipe? I like EN - a lot of it isn't "tuneful" per se - but it explores what music is all about. And is guaranteed to clear the dance floor.

Itsuka Mata (Until Next Time) - Kodo - Warabe
I like Kodo. Not good driving music though. To quote [livejournal.com profile] boglin - "Is that noise coming from the CD player or has the exhaust come loose?"

"Is that noise coming from the CD player or has the exhaust come loose?"

Ah. I'm glad other people have that problem too.

I remember a friend of mine diving for the "stop" button in the days when my tape player had a habit of chewing tapes. I had to reassure her that that particular bit of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' Jangling Jack was meant to sound like that :)

Will keep fingers crossed for interview outcome.

The accident I had shortly after I got the car was largely down to Dexy's Midnight Runners.

Well, you don't want the job anyway. Am happy to say I know none of the music on your list - and don't want to! (Although the last one sounds like something that might be played on Iron Chef, see Challenge TV for further hilarity!)
