Short days?

One of the worst/best things of shirking from home is not having to get up early in the morning, however, as many of you know I do a day a week in London which involves me having to get up, out, on a train etc.

This morning I bounced enthusiastically into the shower, out of the house, on the bus, to New Street, to the ticket machine, to the departure boards... only to see no trains to London. Apparently as part of the "West Coast Main Line Hash Up" there are replacement buses and alternative routes. So, given the choice of a 45 minute longer journey, starting from another Birmingham station, at some undetermined point in the future I got back on the bus and came home.

Rar! Decisive action ;-)

And this is set to go on until the 20th. So therefore it will take much longer, of course. It's easier (and cheaper) to fly to the continent than to get to London - perhaps you could re-arrange your schedule to Paris?

I might let the rats out in a bit if they're awake. And then go for a run early evening.
