[GPP] Keeping up with myself
Jun. 21st, 2004 07:17 pmRarely I impress myself - but some of these I really quite like.
Anthrax Last Night
I had a couple more cunning ideas about ways to get into gigs, and what to do with the best of these. Hard work ahead methinks.
Are all hobbies such hard work?

Date: 2004-06-22 02:05 am (UTC)I'll prod the young Ms Johnson (she's a reviews editor for Kerrang!) in the direction of your site. Kerrang! is Emap, so be prepared for some barter when it comes to getting paid (actually, that goes for most of the music rags.)
Haven't talked to Rory or Will for a while, they work for Touch and Time Out respectively, but I'll see what I can do.

Date: 2004-07-08 12:22 am (UTC)I've cold-emailled Caroline before, but I'll put together a better crafted note and try again over the next couple of days.
I suspect that she gets hundreds of "cold-calling" emails so it's a matter of perseverence. I'll let you know how it goes...
