As promised.. Christmas 2005 Charity Donation Poll

Please vote if you have a preference. I'm doing this, as I've said before, partly because it's easy, partly because I resent the over-commercialisation of the season and partly because while I think about most of you lot regularly I don't always think of other people - so this is a time to do that.

Don't feel pressured, don't think I don't love you all because I'm not contributing to Hallmark's annual profits. I care about my friends though I know I don't always show it..

Oh, and I'm not doing this out of some sense of guilt or to try and impress you. Surely most of you know me well enough to understand I like to do that in other ways.

I'll probably give something to all of them. Just vary the amounts a little based on the indicative poll - so it reflects a combination of "my choice" and "my friends' preferences".

Which one do you want donations to in lieu of pressie? Or do you want pressie? :)

If you have already chosen a pressie then I would not like to appear ungrateful. If you are applying just-in-time principles then please give to charity :-)

argh! too much choice!

i already give to amnesty, so i guess i'll let you chose one of the others.

in fact, i've now selected one to vote for.

not that i dont feel any of the others arent also deserving, but i guess i feel that if christmas is a time to help fellow *humans* all over the world, the most impactful one would be one that would be humanitarian and international.
