kneeshooterApparently I already have a reputation for being a meddler with our IT Support Desk ;-) I asked them why I couldn't dial-up. They said that they didn't supprot the use of mobiles to do so (explains the crap handset without IR that they gave me), and they don't support using a firewire drive on the laptop (not too much of a hassle at the moment as ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ephraim has it). I've not bothered asking why the DVD player doesn't work. I'm sure they won't support that either.
Off soon to attempt to ransom the car, but will encourage people to do the "Anonymous Survey" I posted recently - then all of you explain why you wouldn't date me!
