Nice. The Nitzer one looks like it's an ad - calvin klein sunglasses or something. (that is still a compliment btw ;-p).

I don't know why you bother photographing Nitzer Ebb and Fixmer/McCarthy gigs after the first one. He's wearing the same outfit in every single instance.

How do you remember which band is which?

In my defence I am automating more and more of this each time.

I'm curious as to what you're doing to automate things, as I'm still finding the 'edit out the crap, convert from raw, get into usable state for web usage' process is pretty slowwwww, even with some of the scripting I've already done.

What're you managing to automate and how?

(Nice pics by the way, most impressive)

Great stuff! I love the Oomph! one where all three are in the air at once. Lola Angst do take interesting photos, as do Feindflug

Nitzer Ebb shots are ever so iconic.

There are loads more that are comment-able on, but seem to be busybusybusy today. Corner me later.

Well, being cornered certainly beats doing actual work :)

For Regicide, I like the portrait shot of the girl singer, and the WA shot of the full stage with everyone on it. I'm very impressed with how you have done on Theatres des Vampires. The BBC shot is fantastic, and CRW_5834 captures the performance well.

Then on to the Werk2. I'm always impressed by your shots from the crowd, you manage to get fairly clean shots, without heads being too obtrusive. Witt, you've made them look interesting, and IMG_0411 protrays aging rock god very well. What was going on with the first shot in that set? The mad colours in the foreground are very entertaining, even if I can't parse what is going on.

Lacrimosa and Nitzer Ebb were both very posey which made them really photogenic. 0536 is very iconic, I like it a lot. The slightly gritty look of 0572 makes a nice contrast to the rest of the shots (Thoguh he looks a little like George Michael there.)

Shot of the day was either the Nitzer Ebb iconic shot, or the TdV shot you sent to the BBC.

The first three bands on Saturday I can take or leave. You took pictures of what they were doing, but I'm not really that interested as they weren't doing much exciting
Jumping ahead to Cat Rapes Dog, 0769 is brill. Close up of the singer, with the guitarist in the background is a fantastic composition, and its croped so that you get a lot of live tension in there. Img_0743 and CRW_6082, both of the guitarist, I also like, especially the second, just as you have caught her mid-flight.

VNV shots are great, I like looking at them as he's looking so madly joyful through the whole gig. Shot of the day goes to the close up of the Cat Rapes Dog singer.

Lola Angst are very curious shots, due to the presence of the dancers. The last shot you have up is by far the best, due to the pose of the dancer. (IMG_0929)

Metallspürhunde have some very rocking shots. They get shot of the day, but Iam not to sure which one gets it. Probably one of the close-ups. I get the feeling that a couple less shots of the woman on keyboards would be a good thing, since she looks astoundingly bored by the whole endeavour. Cephalgy had a very shiny head.
Oomph has some fantastic framing. 6312 works with the full length backdrop across the image, and IMG1097 is really really good, though it breaks loads of rules of framing. Very nifty. CRW6276 seems a bit of a strange inclusion in this set, as its okay, but not as good as much of the rest of it.

Last day now! Glis. 1221 was the best here. Woman on keyboards looks bored.
TS: 1264 is a great portrait. The whole lot are bright as a set. I like this.
GM: 1359 is a really good shot. He is the sort of guy we should be seeing at this event. The lighting really makes the shot, with the face lit, and the shoulders having disappeared.
Fiendflug: Great stuff, and great subject matter. Best is a toss-up between 6505, and 1466. The first has that extremely striking shadow for all your exploring the negative space needs, and the second is just very striking. I think these are your best set of the festival.
And One shots don't do it for me. I don't think that its your fault, it is just he looks like he should be at Butlins introducing acts, and known as "camp freddie"

Phew! So there you go. Right, I'm running out of lunchtime, so I'm off.

I like the Oomph set best of the ones I looked at - the lead singer looks like wickid fun. I specially like the 6th one in where it looks like he's being restrained by security. He reminds me ever to slightly of Rich Temple.

Oh, and you have the same shot in twice in your Lola Angst page.
