I really must do these earlier than Thursday each week. Anyway, I went to an LRP event, shared a room with a re-enactment of the geological history of California and took some photos.

Politics threatened to rear its ugly head but I managed to stay disinterested, overconfident and didn't beat anyone to death. I was hardly even rude...

its amazing how good her kit looks given that her mask is a shoddy cardboard haloween kids thing. Just goes to sho, its not how much you spend, its how much work you put into making it look cool.

i think ill apply that philosophy to my music.

That's exactly it. Everyone at the Changeling game at ICC marveled at my Boggan eyebrows which were a pair of cheap funny eyebrows from the joke shop I had fluffed up a bit...

These really make me want to try Maelstrom at one point. I've only heard good things about it and it seems you can get away with not getting into rubber sword scraps, which is important for a whimp like me.

You and your tempty tempty photos!

I'm having problems with getting over the "ohmygod that person's pointing a camera at me" fear when taking that sort of thing - any hints?

I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Most of those people probalby either didn't realise that I was taking a photo or are experienced in ignoring cameras. I do feel slightly self-conscious at the start of any event, but by the time I've rattled off a few shots I manage to relax.
