New Trains!

I had the pleasure, for the second time, of a nice new Virgin not-tilting-yet train home. Very nice I thought as I relaxed in the expensive quality service, a cool glass of water and some nibbles as a civilised aperitif. The trains were clean, they have air-conditioning, at-seat radio and even power sockets.

Then we stopped at Rugby.

Erm, then we stayed stopped.

Some things never change.

Ah, that'll be them as owns the track's fault, young sir. Can't blame the train operators, nothing to do with them. They pays their money and takes their chances... just likes what you do, sir. So would that be a first-class ticket you'd be liking, sir? Then you can sit in comfort at least, whiles the train isn't goin' nowhere...
