Feb. 19th, 2004 11:18 pmToday I went to London again. Half-term seems to mean that the commuter trains in are quieter while the trains out are busier and full of the little darlings. Plus the conductor actually gets around to checking tickets - uncalled for IMO.
Parent of the day award goes to the gentleman who let his son rip notices off the train windows to take as souvenirs.
Maelstrom costuming coming on nicely. Day out with
lupercal shopping on Saturday at "a convenient re-enactors get together" suggested by
maddave and I might have just secured the basis for a straitjacket from
mr_flay. Wheels within wheels.
The real highlight though was my first ever sighting of wildlife on the underground tracks - a very grubby little mouse.
