Geeking & Sensory Deprivation

No, I don't mean shutting myself away with Counter-Strike and a pair of good headphones.

Today I have experimented in trying to get myself mugged. This was by a carefully planned process of surfing the 'net and generally geeking via 3G/GPRS on a number 126 bus. Hurrah!

This evening I have been wrapped in clingfilm and had wet plaster bandages applierd to my face. Rather than being a new experiment in leisure activity, or a suggestion from the latest issue of Marie Claire it's actually the closest I'm getting to an NWO costume. What is especially bad is that my last NWO costume, through no fault of its own, seems to have died in downtime.

I blame pax_draconis totally. Still, we shall see how it all pans out.

Tired now. I think.

Oh, anyone going past Birmingham on their way to Bradford on Friday to arrive in advance of Infest? 1x lift required, one way only, no luggage ...

Without being rude, while it was pleasant to meet you, I don't always add "everyone" back to my friends list immediately. I still dip in and out of journals, and get to know people more before reciprocating; in a vague attempt to keep my friends-list manageable.

99% of my journal is public, so it's not as if you're missing out anything in my oh-so-exciting life.

While Ben was doing it he kept talking to me and afterwards when I complimented him on his bedside manner and he made some comment about people being freaked by sensory deprivation the best I could manage was "Actually I found it quite relaxing" :-) :-)
