LARP-froth
Sep. 6th, 2004 05:47 pmSo much to do, so little time. This was by some margin the most enjoyable NWO game I've been to. I felt happy, I felt I was firing on a fair/acceptable percentage of cylinders and I can think of little that wasn't at least "contained" and can be dealt with (or not) at the whim of the squidgods.
Of course there are regrets - but these aren't the usual world-shattering issues; and
immerwahr provided some of the requisite "Good game" reassurance at the end. It did feel a bit strange to play first a more relaxed Divis; then one new emotion (honest!); and finally a change of chair which introduced a little lack of surety.
A little light sparring with
wulfboy was good fun; TEAM LEGAL managed to avoid exploding despite both the odds and the Pennington; and I succeeded in all my attempts to balance a ball on my nose.
Everything else is coming out even more incoherently and I love you all. I did survive not-quite-LARP, and I can't wait for the next opportunity.
And finally a moment of self-congratulation for actually bothering to make so many costume changes (heh - it's new to me) and to Ben Mars - who is the god of Mask Making.
I'll shut up now and research how to remove a good standing or two and sink Asia before breakfast...
