I'm considering cancelling Christmas - kinda.

Well, actually what I'd rather do is make some donations to charity rather than fill all your houses with junk. So, what I'd like from you guys is an idea of charities you would like to see on a future "Pick a box for Simon to give some money to" poll. I may stiill send one or two presents or cards, but for the majority I'd rather do this.

Yes - it's a poll about a poll.

[Poll #398137]

EDIT: Some of you might have been quick and entered info in the previous attempt at this which I deleted... so please go again...

Beat me to it... I've been thinking about doing this (I think out of laziness rather than goodwill) since your Donkey saga.

Though my issues with the Donkey is not whether or not its a good charity but that our commercial world means charities have to spend time and resources on photos and newsletters of poor donkey/bear/child/torture victim...in order to get us to part with cash. Horrid commercial it is.

anyway once you've constructed the main poll I shall probably swipe the results!

I agree and understand fully why they do it, and its not the advertising that bothers me at all its the offering a product for money. The "product" being the adopted animal/child whatever. And it doesn't bother me that they do it. It bothers me that as a society we need this level of personalisation before we are prepared to give
