Ok, as I pointed out yesterday elsewhere that's perhaps slightly too enthusiastic. Still, it was nice to get out and pontificate about the lack of decent totty present.

My dancing trousers were warmed up and ready to rock, but the rock room was totally dead, so they had to put up with a heady mix of 80s and EBM. Couple of highlights though including breaking [livejournal.com profile] nattydreadi by showing him the actions to Temple of Love; being asked "How do you dance sober?" and volleying straight back with "Just as badly as I do when I'm drunk" and finally having some woman with a digicam deciding that me throwing myself around the dance floor alone to NIN - Sin would make a good photo essay. Even I don't want to see what I look like...

Then to bed, some more of Stephen Lawhead's Patrick (not bad, very much like all his other books) and today I'm clearly working on OU stuff - as you can tell.

Chinese tonight - might just be [livejournal.com profile] quondam and I, but others welcome - let me know as if there are many I'll book [7:30, Chung Ying Gardens is the plan].

I regret the fact that goth dancing with actions has fallen from favour (probably due to universal ridicule). I think it reached its height with Rosetta Stone where there was a kind of Goth "Incy Wincy Spider" for every song.

Well, I always had trouble working out who was dancing and who was taking the piss in goth clubs.
