Good Day, Bad Day

On the downside, the car just got more expensive. Apparently instead of selling "bits" of drive shaft, Renault only sell "whole driveshafts". This, as it sounds, is a lot more expensive. Not quite expensive enough to consider ditching the car completely and selling for scrap; but not nice either.

Better though is having photopass confirmed for this evening, and offer of Dead Can Dance ticket for tomorrow. Of course, some people think I'm odd in going to London for two consecutive nights for gigs, but I consider live music important.

Star of the day so far though has to be kingandy who is assisting with "Operation: Market Odyssey".

I'm not sure I do after the call from the garage, but I'm embracing the consumer culture of "spend today, pay tomorrow".

I was ignoring the car - they are just holes for money - but I would love the money to go to as many gigs as you do, and even if you get into some / all of them FOC as a photographer, I would still love the money you must spend on travel to attend them.

I'm quite smart about it. A return to London costs £35 and I don't do that a lot. Birmingham gigs cost £1.70 for a return bus fare, and Wolverhampton ones about £5.

I guess I spend £100-£150 a year on gig tickets. Which isn't a lot for a hobby.

Well, last night it was sitting down with "Our Man in Mary Vale" and prodding him into creating a suitable flyer to go with all the Maelstrom packs.

From the sounds of it as "part of the motivational force behind the largest prebooked group so far" you're doing a chunk!

I'm trying not to offend smittumi with overbearing enthusiasm and putting his nose out of joint, but if there is anything...

Oddity wise, I've ten rule books lovingly printed out and bound. I was going to give them to my local Traveling Man manager so he could give them to his chums. Is this a useful thing?
