It is a really nice lens, probably the only one I miss from my Canon system.

You should see the whip-marks on the face mask I had to wear to get that close. The bloody stingers. And all the hammering of their roots together drove me barmy, at least until I remembered my gig-kit has ear-plugs in it.

There are bluebells in my front garden and in the nearby park, but ours hang down like bells should.

Pretty much, yes. Plus the fact the challenge was for "Bluebells" and I wasn't at a "field of bluebells" only "the odd bluebell in a garden" so it seemed appropriate.
