News Update

I should probably put a big "on-strike" notice up, but instead I'm going to tell you what I've been up to.

Last week has faded beautfiully into the tattered tapestry of my life, various themes of stress, stripey cats and nipple tassles make way for a reality of "getting up too early on Saturday" to get to London for my firs pro-photo shoot. It was a lot of fun, and I now have more photos of Bill Giles than any sane man could want. I do like candid reportage photography, and to keep strangegothdude happy will post some highlights with commentary soon.

The downside of getting up before 6AM was being dead to the world by 11PM, so it was to bed then up for an enthusiastic viewing of Earthshock on cable. Then even remotely interesting things stopped until German tonight.

I've already mentioned how Adult Education is a microcosm of certain disfunctional elements of society - but I keep making the same mistake and setting next to the "Old chap, with a screw loose". This means that I have to smile as he makes a mess of all his side of any pair work, rather than beat him around the head screaming "Pay attention you senile old f***" which I suspect would breach the equal-ops policy.

Tomorrow I have a trip to London, then on to Southampton for the (Tuesday) evening; then back to London and Birmingham on Wednesday. During the visit I will drag my father kicking and screaming into the Internet age with his exciting new broadband - then perhaps find time for a wee drinkie if anyone in Southampton/Winchester is up for it??

We have no money to go out out and have practice and gym but we have an hour or so spare if you want to come round for a cup of tea:)
