Ho hum - it was kinda fun. After deciding I didn't want to be out all weekend - loads of stuff to do here before Monday, I went along to a Trap tavenr night. The LRP itself was a bit ho-hum, but it was really nice to see a few people I'd not seen for years, and there were a couple of moments of amusement which I won't bother repeating as they'll take ages to explain and still won't be funny.

Plus the fact I like playing angels and devils.

Also, collected from "House of George" my first pair of proper hero pants. Despite [livejournal.com profile] sixtine saying they looked like tracksuit material (which they aren't) and the fact I had a to lend [livejournal.com profile] grendelchild them plus a top to enable him to keep the side up when it came to kit, they'll probably have at least a couple of outings before I grow old and die. [livejournal.com profile] bellagrim however looked absolutely fantastic in a lovely red and white combo as the Archbishop of Canterbury.

I had a chance also to talk to George about costume for Omega - but this relies on Matt's powers of persuasion next week else should I go I might be with [livejournal.com profile] ephraim and [livejournal.com profile] pax_draconis in the bar - and gave her a small repair job to do.

Also discovered that a (vague) friend might have a spare room in Oxford - so will start email contact tomorrow in the hope of getting somewhere reliable to stay until Plan Bicester comes through.

Anyway - bedtime now - else my bodyclock will stop me being on the road at 7am on Monday morning...

I know many people in Oxford, but you might not want to live with any of them...
Let me know if you need some emergency contacts.

I did also say that the trousers were made from rather nice wool. Sigh. I have decided to ration myself to 500 words a day. It might help.
