I just finished my first edit of a Wikipedia article, and released an image under a Creative Commons license. I fear for what little productivity I still have, as I plummet headlong into serving this new, demanding master.

I do apologise. For some inexplicaple reason I thought you were childeric ... I don't really know why. All I can suggest is that my brain is a little intensely involved in the code I'm writing at the moment (XML processing code [in Perl] for soccer data) and it's not very good at recognising humans. Attempting to spot errors in something childeric has written is something I'm always trying to do (and, IIRC, never succeeding).
I think I might avoid human comms to later.

It's a Simon thing clearly. We're all mostly interchangable.

I thought you couldn't mix Creative Commons-licensed stuff and GNU Free Documentation License-licensed stuff, or does including an image alongside text not count as "mixing"?

My (idiots) interpretation is that because the image is a separate element, that it is licensed separately from the text. But I have no idea. And frankly if anyone want's to rip off a 200px high image then they're not going to find a lot of illicit uses for it.
