More stuff and nonsense

In other matters I was listening to Radio 4, and some ~very articulate people~ talking about books, and I remembered back to the time where I put poetry in my LJ, where it was a diary rather than a vehicle for self-promotion hoping that I'll be spotted and then suddenly be able change my life.

So, I make no apologies for what is going to happen as I try to recapture journals past, and am seeking further pretentious tweaks for my journal, and maybe some new icons. Be warned.

One final note of casual annoyance - today I had a vegetarian buffet lunch. It was composed mainly of fish and mushrooms. Bah!

How can fish be a vegetarian food? A fish is a creature! I really don't understand it. Is it because fish aren't cute? I bet some people think fish are cute. You'll just have to learn to like mushrooms, you know. They really are very nice, especially when drizzled with garlic butter or in a white wine and stilton sauce... mmmmmmm....

If something has a face, and it hasn't been drawn on with a marker-pen, then it's not vegetarian. I just want to punch vegetarians who say "I'm vegetarian- except for fish and pork" or such. Grrr. They should all be vegan, and die of essential amino acid deficiencies.

The plan is to get noticed and then give up an overpaid IT job for something more interesting...

I've not really done anything other than gig shots - but I'm awfully bored open minded about trying such things. Got something in mind?
