Not a lot - see the block of wood comment below. Slightly fascinated and intrigued but was not the subject of much attention. Progressed from "Oooh, what's this?" to "Gosh, look what's going on. This could be interesting" to "Who?".

Slightly disappointed, but not especially bothered. It would have been nice to have had a clean sheet, but with the relatively small run-up we had it was going to be unlikely.

The second question is more difficult to answer. More dangerous in some senses and more manipulative - probably. But it's like comparing two blocks of wood...

Skhordaka was a misguided individual who let his ego get in the way. His death was unfortunate as there was a danger he might not have finished playing his part - but in the end it worked out ok. Kyle was funny. Useful to a degree, but more amusing.

Did you actually enjoy playing him?

Yes, I do see all the "logistical function" comments above, but I remember interacting with you as a convincing character then - I remember feeling very frustrated with you when you stopped our dismiss wedge with your book, and I also know how much role playing I fitted in around issuing bits of paper to players myself.

I suppose my point would be that there was little "new" or "interesting" about the characterisation. When I was called to "roleplay" in the loosest sense I just exaggerated my own personality rather than tapped into any rehearsed character.

Enjoy? Yes. But mainly in the sense that I enjoy supporting and building a game for others. I'm a terribly softy like that. I'm such a victim :-P
