Slowing down

Sensible to take this opportunity to take stock of the last couple of days - mainly for my benefit (so be forgiven if you turn off now).

Friday evening was B-Movie shenanigans - first time for a while but in retrospect I didn't have my dancing trousers on what with the heat so wasn't as animated as usual. Lovely to see a number of people old and new, for different lengths of time (miss_soap, mr_flay, ashenkat, esrunkatsu, florence90, cookwitch, zeke_hubris, cutietrol amongst others...)

jfs proved to be the usual wonderful host, providing croissants to the bleary-eyed contents of his lounge, and then there was the usual trip, though hotter and less pleasant than it has been, to Euston where I got to experience the delights of Saturday on the West Coast Main Line - scenic diversion and maximum speed limit of about 40mph.

Slightly disappointed not to have made it out with the chaps in Nottingham last night (just for the experience) but have half-resolved to try Planet Angel at some point in the future...</lj-cut>

Any notes on Intrustion and how I had a lovely time since are now in the mists of time - hopefully we'll get another go soon and when Dok posts the setlists I'll link them here so you can all appreciate the quality <strike>rubbish</strike> I played.

You were missed :-) And it was a good weekend. Great to see people, and to have the pleasure of coming home to a house full post club. Cool orange juice and even cooler conversations in the garden are now on my list of essential July Saturday supplies.
